This gorgeous and unusual Lebus Tallboy dates back to circa 1960. With 5 spacious drawers, it has been professionally hand painted in Royal Navy by Small and Co Furniture Paints.
The drawers have been lined with fabulous William Morris At Home paper in Bird and Pomegranate design.
The bottom 3 drawers have been stripped of their old varnish and resealed using hemp oil to make that glorious wood veneer pop.
The handles have been replaced with sympathetic but up to date gold handles, that work so well with the deep navy blue.

Please note that this piece has been restored skilfully, with high attention to detail, however it may have a dink here and there showing signs of a previous much loved life.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".
