Blue Upcycled Bureau

This newly refurbished bureau was in quite the state of disrepair when we collected it. Heading to landfill if we couldn't do something with it. But we managed, we managed to give this gorgeous bureau the makeover it deserved, and it now sits proudly as a beautiful deep blue writing desk ready for its new home. 

To create this new look we used After Midnight by Frenchic, a beautiful deep blue with the added touch of dark wax to create its mystical appearance. Inside the desk, which pulls down and sits on two pull out rests, you will find a delicate storage space partially painted to contrast with the wood detail. You will find a leather desk, which has been repaired with a green leather colourant. You will see some slight wear and tear on the leather desk, but it is in a useable condition.

The upcycled writing bureau comes with a generous sized, lockable cupboard with one shelf, below the pull down desk that sits on two pull out rests. The desk has a lock, but no longer locks. Inside the desk you'll find two small drawers and 5 small storage spaces, perfect for filing notes and letters. The desk itself though slightly bowed due to its age and use over time, is still sturdy and perfectly functional.
