Leggy and gorgeous, this console table will take your entryway up a notch. Bold but elegant, with panelling in Blackpop velvet.
The velvet really pops against the blue and orange paintwork and the colours accentuate those beautiful long legs.
The inside of the two drawers have been painted a fresh light blue and lined with the same velvet, handy for your keys, wallet and lipgloss. The handles have been replaced but are vintage salvaged from another piece and refinished for a fresh brushed brass look. The top has been stripped and refinished to really show off the lovely pattern of the veneer and inlaid decorative emblem.
Painted in Fusion Mineral paints Homestead Blue and Tuscan Orange. Panels in Blackpop Neo13 sustainable velvet. Top finished with Osmo hardwax oil.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
