I have a thing for storage, there is never enough of it and with this large 6-drawer chest of drawers, you certainly won’t be short of it. And I love pine, it's such an underrated wood. Solid, sturdy, it just begs to be painted in gorgeous colours like this gorgeous muted pink from Mylands called Bloomsbury™ No.267 it is a soft, elegant colour, with earthy, terracotta tones. I urge you to take a look at the Mylands website to get a better representation of the colour. My poor lighting and iPhone can't do it justice :)

I've used a top coat specifically designed for high-traffic areas such as table tops but I suggest you clean it with a damp cloth and try to avoid any harsh chemicals.
