He proceeds through a series of preparations for a new life, cleaning, striping, and sanding. The whole piece has been painted in soft, bold charcoal grey, versatile and dynamic tones, also elegant and sophisticated. The front of the chest and right side of the chest had been decoupage in this gorgeous rice paper that illustrates the “White Horse “The chest consists of seven drawers two large at the top, three small drawers in the middle and two large drawers at the bottom offering a quantity of storage space. The original handles have been replaced with new black rustic iron knobs to match the existing look. The Interior of the drawers is cleaned and conditioned. The chest is fully sealed with more layers of satin varnish and clear wax Lavender sense. As a vintage piece, although some of the imperfections of age and usage remain. As much as possible I’m doing everything to make them more comfortable, attractive, and functional.
