This beautiful vintage oak barley twist sideboard would add charm and elegance to any room.

Painted in a custom mixed green mineral paint and sealed with a matt varnish on the main body. The top and legs have been stripped and waxes have been used to create a soft tone and bring out the lovely grain. This is a lovely mix of traditional and modern which would work well in a number of places in the home...the living room, dining room, or in the hallway as a console.

There are two drawers, each in good condition with solid bases and dovetail joints, and two cupboard areas, one of which has a shelf which is removable if required. The pretty original carved details on the drawers and upstand are in great condition for their age and add an extra dimension to this special piece of furniture.

I arrange delivery with one of my trusted furniture couriers, this will usually be a one man service and help will be required to unload the item at the buyer's home. If a two man service is required please let me know before checkout as there may be an extra charge. Delivery will usually be within 1-3 weeks of your order being placed, sometimes it may be quicker but on rare occasions it can take longer depending on your location. The drivers contact you directly to confirm the date and time of delivery and will work with you to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Collection is also welcome from my home workshop in Essex.

For commissions and custom orders, delivery will be arranged once work is completed.

All my work is refinished with great care and attention to detail using the best quality furniture paints which are as environmentally friendly as possible. My pieces are all antique, vintage and always pre-loved and therefore may show minor signs of their past life with the occasional dent or ding. Major imperfections are always repaired, but I believe small marks show the piece's history and add to its charm. Any signs of historic woodworm are treated as a matter of course.
