Peter Pan and the fairies enjoying the beautiful garden of flowers all hand painted and protected
This most gorgeous little cabinet is hand-painted in original artwork. From day to dawn Peter Pan is flying way above the meadow while the Fairies are enjoying the going down of the sun.
The cabinet can be used as a drinks store or you can pop your vinyls in to store them. This is a very old piece of wooden furniture and i have brought it up to date so it can fit into any home. It can be admired purely for its artwork or for its functionality. it is a statement piece to be admired by all who set eyes on her
The inside is gold leaf and has been aged to reflect usage. it can either hold your records or glasses and bottles..whatever you choose will look amazing
The top has been gold leafed and i used a raised stencil with lots of texture to create the image you see. it was then sanded back to create an aged effect and then waxed in coloured wax.
The whole cabinet has been protected.

As with all my furniture they are old and used and will have marks, dents and scuffs. I do my best to work with these during my painting process. you are not buying new pieces of furniture so they have marks of age.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
