This console table is a real eye catcher. Its been stripped, sanded and painted in a rich Midnight Blue from Fusion Mineral Paint. The top edge and leg details have been highlighted with gold metal leaf and sealed for a glistening sheen.
The paint work has been varnished with a very high quality satin varnish by General Finishes. The carved legs have been stripped of old vanish and re varnished with a clear satin finish. I poured 2 resin moulds and added some gold leaf, they were then added to the front of the drawers to give the console a unique look.
Two beautiful little brass knobs have been added to add detail and compliments the overall look of the console. This is a vintage piece, so naturally there may be some sign of age.
This table is slim line, which makes it a perfect compliment to use in a hallway or landing and has 2 drawers for storage. The drawers are decorated with a pretty art deco design. This table would make a beautiful side table dressed with a lamp or decorative accessories.
