Vintage Walnut Wardrobe

Add a touch of vintage glam to your bedroom with this beautifully restored walnut wardrobe.

The deep, muted aubergine paint adds a contemporary feel to this vintage wardrobe, making it a perfect fit for your modern home.

But what sets this eye-catching piece apart is the rich, warm colour and distinctive grain patterns in the veneer.

The striking walnut wood has been carefully restored and refinished with a traditional varnish bringing the grain back to life.

The design on the front of the wardrobe has been painted in a moody metallic bronze, highlighting this original feature.

And to ensure that this exceptional piece maintains its natural beauty for years to come, the interior has been treated with our natural furniture tonic, which nourishes and preserves the wood.

Take a closer look, and you’ll notice the original handles are finished in a metallic bronze to harmonise with the rest of the piece.

Inside, there’s plenty of space for all your clothes - the pull out hanging rail is perfect for your dresses and suits, and the shelves are perfect for everyday accessories.

The backs of the doors are painted in the deep purple with an Art Nouveau stencilled design in metallic bronze.

Investing in vintage furniture like this walnut wardrobe not only adds personality to your home but also supports sustainability by giving new life to a piece of furniture that might otherwise be lost to history.

A blend of glamour and sophistication, it’s a piece would make a captivating focal point in your bedroom.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
