Vintage Oak Thomasville Cabinet – Restored Solid Oak Storage Piece
This beautifully restored vintage cabinet by Thomasville Furniture has been thoughtfully refinished to highlight the natural warmth and character of the oak. Stripped back to its original timber and carefully refinished with a soft tan wash and layered wax treatments, the result is a subtle, elegant finish that enhances the grain while maintaining a natural, understated appearance.
The cabinet combines solid oak framing with oak veneered panels and has been elevated with modern solid oak legs, replacing the original base to create a lighter and more contemporary silhouette.
Inside, the cabinet has been reimagined as a stylish drinks cabinet or bar unit, featuring a deep heritage green interior with decorative stag motifs that add a classic, slightly regal character. Brass hardware complements the warm oak tones, creating a balanced and timeless look.
While styled here as a drinks cabinet, this versatile piece could equally serve as a hallway console, bedroom storage cabinet, or living room sideboard.

Condition/ Disclaimer
All of my pieces are restored with great care and attention, but they all arrive with a past life. While I aim for the highest standard possible, some subtle age-related character may remain, adding to the authenticity and charm of vintage furniture. Please bear this in mind when purchasing.
The cabinet has been carefully refinished and is in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. There is a small historic blemish to one side panel measuring approximately 20mm x 10mm. This is purely cosmetic and blends naturally with the rustic oak finish, but it has been shown in the photos for transparency.

Your cabinet has been finished using wax treatments to protect the timber while maintaining a natural look. To keep it looking its best, simply wipe with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products such as polishes. The microfibre cloth provided in the care kit you will receive is great for every day cleaning.
