Welcome to your seller guidelines page containing all you need to know about selling on Upcite.

Item requirements

- High quality images are mandatory.

- Measurements are essential unless it is a commission-based listing.

- Professional and descriptive item titles are essential.

Seller Requirements

- We ask that sellers have at least a profile picture and background picture within their profiles.  

- To help maintain quality standards, sellers must reply to product queries
within one day. Sellers will be notified by Upcite for any new messages.

- For seller pay-outs, we average a 1–3 day pay-out period where we will release any net funds to your chosen payment method within your account. You can provide a payment method within your account for Upcite to release the net funds to (after deducting any seller fees).

- We also recommend providing a contact number within your account. This is so that if Upcite needs to get in touch with you, it makes the process a lot faster.

If Upcite feels there has been a breach in any form, Upcite may temporarily disable the item from the marketplace.

Fees

- Free to list items.

- 11.5% seller fee (from total sale) if an item sells.

Returns

Sellers are responsible for any additional returns charges should an item need to be returned as a result of shipping damages or inaccurate listings. Therefore, if items are to be shipped, we assume items will be sufficiently packaged and secured for transport. To further prevent returns, it is also important to make listings as clear and as transparent as possible. You can read more about our terms and conditions here.

Upcite sales

Upcite may occasionally optimize the pricing of items in attempt to improve conversions. This would not impact the amount of funds released to you. For example, shipping fees may be added to the item price to create a free shipping element.

Shipping on Upcite

Delivery is simple. You can choose to offer your own shipping service or we can organise one for you on your behalf with one of our trusted couriers.

For painted furniture listings; shipping is a required feature. Delivery is to be offered on a UK mainland basis only.
