17th Century Jacobean Solid Oak Mule Chest

This historic piece of furniture is still in usable condition some 400 years after being made.
Over the centuries there have been repairs and modifications 
but the main frame, drawers and panels are original. 
At some point the chest has had a new lid and more recently, 
new hinges and chest base making sure the chest will go into the next century.

Condition
The chest is fit for everyday use but being around 400 years old there are many marks and age related signs of wear including wood shrinkage and cracking but all of this adds to it's stunning patina.
