1950's Vintage Walnut Veneered Wardrobe

A stylish 1950s walnut veneered wardrobe with lovely rich grain and classic mid-century styling. Featuring two full-length doors with a central shaped mirror, giving the piece a clean and elegant look.

Both doors open and close well and retain their original working lock and key, complete with an “Albro Furniture” tag. Internally, the wardrobe offers practical storage with a hanging rail to the left side, while the right side includes a smaller hanging section with an upper shelf.

The veneer presents beautifully overall with only minor age-related marks to the sides and light wear to the mirror. There are some small chips along the top and bottom edges of the doors as shown in the photographs. The rear lower section has been altered previously, though the wardrobe remains sturdy and functions as intended.

Internally the veneer is thin and lifting slightly. This could be easily glued or replaced.

Please note the black base plinth is fairly thin, so care should be taken when moving the piece.

A handsome and practical vintage wardrobe ideal for a mid-century or retro-inspired interior.
