50s/60s China/Cocktail Cabinet

This piece is so unique. We haven't seen one like this before.  It had been owned by the same family for years before we sourced it. 

Sadly the side glass was broken, however we have fitted half dowel rods that have been gilded in gold to echo the gold edging to the top and bottom edging. Pin legs with brass caps and lovely shaped mirrors to the front. There is a slight chip to the bottom glass inside shelf which is barely recognisable but we have highlighted in the photographs. A gorgeous Chinoiserie bird paper has been used to back the cabinet and bottom shelf which looks almost fabric like in lovely shades of teal green/blues and gold. 

The black paint to the front, feet and top is Fusion Minerals Coal Black. Against the gold it just looks stunning. 

The sliding glass doors have a lovely gold motif edging. 

The whole piece has been sealed with dead flat matte varnish including the bottom inner shelf. 

As with all pre-loved furniture this may show signs of imperfection. Thank you for looking.
