A beautiful Victorian burr walnut Davenport desk dating to the late 19th century.
This elegant writing desk features a striking burr walnut veneer with wonderful natural figuring throughout.
The fall-front writing slope opens to reveal a charming interior fitted with small drawers and pigeonholes, perfect for stationery and correspondence.
The desk stands on turned walnut legs with a shaped stretcher base, giving it a light and refined appearance while remaining sturdy and practical. 
Pieces like this were traditionally used by ship captains and officers, which is where the Davenport design originates.
A highly decorative and functional antique that works perfectly as a writing desk, side table, or statement piece in a study, hallway, or living room.
Condition: Good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age.
