This vintage ladies' writing desk in the Queen Anne Style, featuring gracefully slender cabriole legs, has undergone a meticulous refurbishment, breathing new life into its timeless elegance.

This beautiful piece of furniture has been revitalised with a thorough cleaning, sanding, three coats of Fusion midnight blue paint, and decoupaged with enchanting blue Verbena Kew Gardens cotton fabric.

Fabric decoupage doesn't just boast a stunning appearance, it is also exceptionally durable, captures and reflects light beautifully, and stands the test of time.

The burr walnut wood on the drawers and pull down door has been treated with Osmo oil to reveal its natural beauty. Both drawers and the pull down desk door are lockable and come complete with their original locks and the main desk opens to reveal letter slots and a convenient little drawer.

The whole piece has been further enhanced with three coats of premium satin varnish.

If you are located more than 150 miles from Stourbridge, post code: DY8 2DS, please get in touch for a delivery quote as there is the possibility of an extra charge. My new table arrived from PinkDotUpcycling at Upcite and omg I'm in love! I so miss being able to do this kind of thing myself, but cannot fault the work done to bring this table back to life and just look how stunning my kraken's bride is!! . Off to follow the FB groups now to see what other unique pretties I can find! Technically a lamp table, but us three being shorties means it will work just fine for crafting, science experiments etc. . . Only opened up to protect the artwork and a table cloth!.
