A single chest of three drawers designed by the quality British furniture company Avalon circa 1960s. A superb and stylish design where the three drawer fronts are configured in a waterfall effect with grooves underneath for opening the drawers. Made in a light oak veneer and supported on slim, splayed legs. The chest is in beautiful vintage condition with some very light surface marks on the top. The frame is strong and sound, and all drawers move easily. The chest has been sympathetically restored and is now ready for its new lease of life. The original maker’s label is still present in the top drawer. Measurements: Height 71 cm, Width 76 cm, Depth 42 cm. Collection from Winchester. Delivery to London £60.
