A very distinctive small drinks cabinet with lots of personality. The fully hinged doors open outwards and feature shelved storage in addition to the internal cabinet shelves (adjustable). In its current configuration, the internal shelves can store mid sized spirit bottles, glasses, miniatures and more. When closed, the doors are secured on magnetic stoppers. The width when the doors are fully extended is 117cm.
The original finish was a 1980s faux Mahogany which was dull and dated. I cleaned, primed and then used a combination of three metallics to create an aged golden patina with a harlequin stencilled design to the front. The interior was also painted in gold with a layers patina effect. To finish, I hung a coordinating decorative tassel.
