This is a typical Chinese kitchen piece of furniture.
The top section mase for plates and cooking implements and the lower section is a chicken/duck coop.
The cabinet has 4 upper doors and 4 lower sliding doors.
Typically the doors were opened in the morning for the chickens and ducks to roam around the garden (free range)
and after dusk the birds would come back in to roost safely indoors away from predators and poachers.
Condition
 The cabinet is in good condition for its age with plenty of age related marks and wear including 
dings, dents, scratches and stains all leaving alovely patina.
