The most exquisite and beautiful French dowry glazed cabinet Housekeeper chest, dating from the early 1800s. Unusual initial detail (matrimonial) and stylised pediment over twin glazed panelled cupboard doors, opening to reveal fitted shelf interior.
The base with two frieze drawers over double panelled cupboard doors. Shaped apron to base. Beautiful colour and patination of the burr throughout. A very unusual and desirable piece. In two sections for ease of installation
