Antique English Oak Monks Bench Storage Seat Table Edwardian

This solid oak monk's bench is in very nice clean condition.

It's in a very traditional English seat that acts as a storage area under the bench seat, the back also lifts over and forms a table.

These benches were popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with many surviving examples dating from the Edwardian period (early 1900s) through the 1920s and 1930s.

We have thoroughly cleaned the item inside and out.

The exterior has been lightly polished.

The internals have been treated with orange furniture oil.
