A fantastic French 19th century ornately carved housekeepers cupboard/linen cabinet/pantry cupboard made predominantly out of solid walnut. The cabinet features a top and bottom cupboard with a single shelf in each and two handy drawers in the bottom cupboard. The top section lifts off the bottom making it easier to transport and to get into your home. This is such a handy piece of furniture which could have many uses.
In good antique condition and structurally sound with no wobbles. There's evidence of historic woodworm, mainly to the feet and back and small amounts elsewhere, but it doesn't appear to be active, we've treated it anyway to make sure. The feet have some splits, but they're secure and not falling apart. The keys are missing, so some magnetic catches have been added to hold the doors shut. There's a few scratches and knocks throughout as you'd expect with something of this age, but nothing particularly detrimental. The upper cupboard has had a shelf replaced with a new piece of wood, there's also the original shelf supports on the inside to hold another shelf if you wish to add one. The drawers move freely. The door pulls don't appear to be original.

For deliveries further afield, EXCLUDING SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS, ISLANDS and IRELAND, we use tried and trusted independent couriers who offer a 2 hour time slot and specialise in the careful shipping of furniture to ensure your item arrives on time, damage free and by friendly helpful people. We don’t use the cheapest couriers around for a reason…….we want your item to arrive in the condition that it left us in, and we value happy customers !!!

IMPORTANT:
Your item will be dispatched the week after you place your order, we cannot usually dispatch in the same week that you place your order. This means that your order will generally take 1-2 weeks to be delivered, deliveries to Scotland may take longer.
You will need to be available to take delivery. This could be any day between Monday and Friday, we would pass your details and they will be in touch with you to give you a delivery date and the day before you will receive a 2 hour timeslot. If this date isn’t convenient you can contact them to rearrange to another date. If you have any specific dates in mind please contact us prior to purchase so that we can check whether our couriers can be in your area on this day.
You will need to provide us with a mobile number at check out for us to pass onto the couriers.
Delivery will be handled by a two man team.
