Crafted from solid mahogany with a warm, mellow finish, the piece embodies late 19th-century English domestic craftsmanship. Each drawer is finely dovetailed and fitted with its original brass oval handles and escutcheons, retaining a gently aged patina that enhances the rich grain of the timber. Standing on original turned bun feet, this chest offers excellent proportions and a graceful silhouette, perfect for use in a bedroom, hallway, or study. The top shows its age beautifully, displaying natural polish depth and subtle wear consistent with its 130-year history.
