The chair retains its upholstered seat and back in a pale damask fabric. The proportions and low seat height suggest it was originally intended as a bedroom or nursing chair.
The chair can be used as is or would make a nice project chair for upholstery.

Condition
Structurally solid and stable. There is some staining to the rear upholstery
Faint red dust-like shadowing to the upper back and sides, seat and back (possibly historic brick dust exposure) and a tiny hole to the fabric on the upper back near the stain
A small mark to the front of the seat
General age-related wear to the wooden arms and legs
The upholstery is usable but may benefit from cleaning or reupholstery depending on preference. The dust like substance is noticeable close up but not from a distance.
This has been reflected in the price.
