A fabulous rustic antique pine trunk with metal handles on either end and a hinged lid. Inside the lid has had a ship painted onto it. This is a great size and is ideal for hall storage or as a toy or blanket box.
The trunk is structurally sound with lots of marks and scratches which add to its rustic charm. There's some in the top where it looks like it was screwed shut at one point, but the screws are now gone. The handles are in tact and are strong. The painting inside has wear. Underneath has had a new base at some point although the inner base looks original. The lock and its mechanism have been removed by a previous owner. There's no woodworm that I can see.

We can deliver to you ourselves within an hour of Leigh On Mendip for a small charge, but please MESSAGE US with your postcode details BEFORE PURCHASING for us to agree a date and delivery price with you, and we will personally deliver the item to your door.
For deliveries further afield, EXCLUDING SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS, ISLANDS and IRELAND, we use tried and trusted independent couriers who offer a 2 hour time slot and specialise in the careful shipping of furniture to ensure your item arrives on time, damage free and by friendly helpful people. We don’t use the cheapest couriers around for a reason…….we want your item to arrive in the condition that it left us in, and we value happy customers !!!

IMPORTANT:
Your item will be dispatched the week after you place your order, we cannot usually dispatch in the same week that you place your order. This means that your order will generally take 1-2 weeks to be delivered, deliveries to Scotland may take longer.
You will need to be available to take delivery. This could be any day between Monday and Friday, we will pass on your details and the couriers will be in touch with you to give you a delivery date and the day before you will receive a 2 hour timeslot. If this date isn’t convenient you can contact them to rearrange to another date. If you have any specific dates in mind please contact us prior to purchase so that we can check whether our couriers can be in your area on this day.
You will need to provide us with a mobile number at check out for us to pass onto the couriers.
Delivery will be handled by a two man team.
