Atmospheric Hand-Painted Chest of Drawers

This solid pine chest of drawers has been completely transformed through an expressive blending painting technique inspired by the atmospheric light and colour of romantic landscapes.

Shades of Blue Lobster, Blue Honey, Sea Glass and Lobster from Cornish Milk Mineral Paint flow together in a serene ombré from deep oceanic blue to warm coral tones, creating a painterly gradient reminiscent of a Turner sky. The paint has been sealed with Polyvine Wax Finish varnish in matt.
The top has been sanded back to reveal the natural pine grain, treated with Littlefair’s Light Oak stain and finished in Polyvine Heavy Duty Matt varnish for lasting protection.
Drawer interiors have been renewed with new plywood bases and lined in tropical paper for a joyful hidden touch.
New brass knobs complement the warm tones perfectly, giving this piece a modern coastal character with a vintage soul.

Fully restored vintage piece; small age marks may remain as part of its charm.
