Beautiful Contemporary Kilim Kelem Flat Weave Upholstered Bench Seat With Rack
This is a really fabulous vintage mid-century style bench seat with an under slatted rack and an upholstered top made from Kilim flat weave wool. The Kilim is a hand-knotted and woven flat weave made by nomads in Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Rajasthan. These Kilims are made from either cotton or sheep wool as their main material, originally used as blankets or to decorate the floors of nomad tents. These benches can be used for many purposes and they have a lovely country house feel.
Condition: The bench is in excellent condition. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
Size: It measures 90cm wide, 40cm deep, and 51cm high.
