For sale is this beautiful and elegant bedroom furniture set by Olympus Furniture which originally was sold in Harrods London in 1950's
This bedroom set contains 2 matching 2 or 3 drawer bedside cabinets, dressing table with matching stool and triple mirror and large bowed front chest of drawers (mirror could be different shape but also by the same manufacture)
Dressing table is kidney shape with highly decorative triple oval mirror, 5 drawers providing plenty of storage. Chest of drawers is bowed front with 5 drawers.
Measurements:
Chest of drawers H x 108cm, W x 91cm, D x 48cm deepest point and 43cm narrowest point
Bedside tables H x 70cm, W x 36.5cm, D x 33.5cm
Dressing table H x 74cm, W x 132cm, D 51cm deepest point and 36.5cm narrowest point
Mirror when fully opened H x 66cm, W x 89cm
This bedroom set is professionally painted inside and out. I used Autentico chalk paint "Nearly Black" colour and all the details been hand painted in vintage gold. Every single drawer in the set is painted gold and inside the drawers decoupaged with beautiful black & gold damask paper. Whole set is finished with matte varnish to protect the paint and also to create smooth and sleek finish.
Dressing table stool been upholstered in toile de Jouy fabric.

Entire set is in immaculate condition, all drawers runs in and out smoothly. This set comes with very dainty original handles.

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
