'Grace' - Ballerina inspired, tall - four drawer chest of drawers.
Upcycled and refurbished by Elle-Beesbylynne.
The style and design of this piece give it an aged and vintage look and feel, making this a beautiful and unique - one-off piece of artwork.
Hand-painted in pale pink, one drawer has an opaque glass front and the other three have a decoupaged design to each of the drawer fronts, giving the whole piece an aged vintage feel.  The drawer fronts have been painted and blended, giving a distressed, aged look, the handles are finished in rose gold leaf and there is a decorative moulding on each drawer front, that has been highlighted in shades of pink and rose gold.  The sides of the chest stand out from the pale pink background, with the dancing ballerina and hanging satin ballet shoe designs, each design having been blended with the background and then framed with hints of gold stencilling.  The words 'Dance like nobody's watching' stand out in shimmering rose gold, completing the whole design. 
This four drawer chest is sure to be a focal point of discussion in any ballerina's ballet themed bedroom and would be a true delight to have in your home.

‘Grace’ has been lovingly restored by hand, by myself and with this in mind, was preloved and has had a previous life.  You may find small signs of wear because when I work on individual pieces of furniture, I consider it a piece of artwork, therefore, I try to encapsulate the past along with maintaining the character.  Also there may be slight imperfections or flaws due to the nature of the individual craft being used during the upcycling process which is completely carried out by hand.  I believe all of these things to be features that add to the character and uniqueness of each piece I recreate.
