For this project, I chose a shade of blue associated with a sky and sea, gorgeous and crispy, my second colour was pure white.
After preparing to paint (cleaning, striping, sanding and priming) the chest has been hand-painted, stencilled on both sides and very gently blended.
The front of the chest -drawers are stencilled in a gorgeous stencil design called “Diamond “The original drawer pulls have been cleaned and polished.
The top has been stripped, sanded and sealed with more layers of satin varnish.
The chest consists of five drawers in a working order.
All the piece is fully protected by satin varnish and clear wax.
