A Chinese vintage green painted nine-drawer apothecary bedside chest from the mid-20th century. Made in China during the mid century period, this charming apothecary chest features a rectangular top, made of nine small dovetailed drawers, fitted with ring pulls and medallion backplates. Raised on four horse hoofed feet, the chest is painted in a stunning green colour accented with black splatter, complementing the grand simplicity of the lines. With its clean silhouette and vivid colours, this Chinese apothecary chest circa 1950 will bring a charming presence to any bedroom, used as bedside chest or living room
