A cocktail drinks cabinet from a conversion of a 1950s Majestic TV cabinet. Having the original bifold doors which open to reveal the cocktail cabinet in the area which would have housed the vintage TV. This section is fully lined with a black baize, having a small raised self towards the back, again wrapped in baize. There is an LED light fitted to the top back of this area, which has several colour change settings and can be plugged into the mains from the back. There is a lemon squeezer and cocktail pins fitted to the sides of the unit.
Below this the piece has the original knobs and bronze speaker section (all for display purposes only) and stands on strong iron hairpin legs, and the back panel is the original TV cover from the 50s.
The whole piece has been professionally painted in a durable dark grey ‘cast iron’ VOC and toxin free mineral paint with areas of bronze, then finished in a clear flat wax for extra durability and effect.

All pieces are wrapped with recyclable eco friendly bubble wrap, recycled cardboard lined, then shrink wrapped ready for delivery.
All of my items have been restored with care and attention however they have all seen a previous life so may show some signs of age, past life and the occasional small imperfection, ding, or dent.

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
