This vintage writing desk in solid oak, has undergone a meticulous refurbishment, breathing new life into its timeless elegance.

This drop leaf writing bureau has been revitalised with a thorough cleaning, sanding and three coats of Fusion bayberry paint on the sides and between the drawers.

The oak wood on the drawers and pull down door has been treated with Osmo oil to reveal its natural beauty.

The whole piece has been further enhanced with three coats of premium matt varnish.

Rest assured, a great deal of effort, care, and attention to detail has been invested in restoring this piece to a high-end finish. While it may bear small signs of its vintage age and the life it led before becoming yours, these imperfections only enhance its character.

Collection is always welcome and your delivery charge will be refunded and if your delivery costs us less than £75 you will be refunded the difference.

Very happy with item

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.

Item is nice but experience wasn't great

I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
