Stunning 1920’s drinks/cocktail cabinet. This piece has been meticulously refinished with attention to detail. Peaky Blinders theme featuring Mr Shelby himself. Hand painted in fine detail. The inside has been lined with a crocodile effect paper and sealed with 3 coats of varnish for durability. A 3 rail wine glass holde has been added which can hold up to 3 glasses per rail. The right side of cabinet opens up to reveal beautiful glass backed shelves complete with original glass holder. The mirror is original and although it shows signs of age related foxing it does not detract from its beauty.
The body of the cabinet is in a rich dark navy. The doors have been treated to a mixed media concept to create an atmospheric design, using decoupage with a blending & stippling technique. Definitely a talking point for those of you that dare to be different. Completely unique and bespoke piece ready to be adored in its new forever home.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
