A fine Edwardian mahogany bureau bookcase of elegant proportions, beautifully enhanced with satinwood crossbanding and delicate inlaid detailing throughout. Featuring a swan-neck pediment above a pair of glazed astragal doors, this versatile piece combines an attractive display cabinet with a practical fall-front writing bureau and generous drawer storage.

The warm mahogany colour, refined inlay and classic Edwardian styling make this an excellent addition to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

* Attractive rich mahogany colour with decorative inlaid banding throughout

* Historic woodworm to the underside of the base, professionally treated and inactive

* Swan-neck pediment with carved central crest in good order

* Pair of glazed bookcase doors with three adjustable shelves inside

* Working key locks the bookcase doors, bureau fall and drawers

* Bureau writing surface has a few small age-related marks as shown, but presents very well overall

* Interior fitted with an arrangement of pigeonholes, small drawers and central cupboard

* Fall-front supported by traditional pull-out lopers (l (non-mechanical)

* Four graduated drawers all run smoothly

* Separates into two sections for easier transportation and installation
