Stunning Black and Champagne Gold Early Century Cocktail Drinks Cabinet.

Laurent is a stunning drinks cabinet from the 1920/30s which has been finished in black and champagne gold creating a talking point for any home. This beautiful piece retains many original features including the original glazing and glass shelves. There are two glass shelves with additional space on the wooden base giving three levels of display.

Laurent has been finished inside with a black flock and champagne gold luxury paper which gives a fantastic background to show off your drinks cabinet accessories. The centre support, as well as the shapely legs and the back plinth, are all highlighted in a soft champagne gold metallic paint with the remainder of the piece painted in a dramatic black.

Each of the original glass panels has been lined on the outside with gold leading to frame each of the panels. As well as looking sleek, the leading gives additional security to keep the glass in position. Similarly, the hinges and shelf supports have all been replaced with new ones, not only for aesthetics but also practical purposes.

In order to really make this piece the centre of attention, a battery operated LED light has been added to light up both Laurent and your display within.

Our preferred materials are water based and manufactured within the UK. Most of what we source arrives with us in top condition but all have been preloved and may show some signs of age and their previous life. We will endeavour to highlight any noticeable foibles in the listing but all pieces will carry some minor imperfections that hint at their past.

NOTE for Laurent; This piece is approximately 100 years old and comes with the original glazing and glass shelves which do have some minor imperfections. The marks do not affect the overall finish of the piece, they simply add to the vintage authenticity.

This is the second time we've bought off Upcite and will always return. This time around, we bought a Victorian Mahogany Chest Of Drawers (£429 including P&P) from Timeless Furniture LTD UK. We contacted Timeless Furniture (Wrexham) through the messages section and they (Dave) were super helpful in confirming P&P will be covered their end but also went out of their way to coat the chest of drawers with another round of woodworm treatment, which was much appreciated. The drawers had been treated before but Dave offered to do it again to allay our concerns. So, once they confirmed this we punched it. Nest of tables

The nest of tables are very tastefully done, they are the final piece of furniture in our living room and we're very happy with them. Comms with J&M were great and the tables were packaged very well so arrived in perfect condition. We will definitely buy from UpCite and J&M again when we next need a beautiful piece of furniture. An absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind vintage cabinet, lovingly restored by Julie and Mark, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail really shine through. The delivery process, unfortunately, didn’t go to plan, with damage caused by the courier, but both Cole at Upcite and Julie and Mark were incredibly supportive throughout. They pushed to have the piece properly repaired and kept me updated the whole way. Thanks to their persistence and care, the cabinet looks just as gorgeous in my home as I’d hoped.
