Hi, up for sale is this beautiful French antique cabinet made from solid oak, highly decorated with carvings.

I wanted to make this piece as a show stopper and carefully chose the colours for it. I wanted it to be true talking point and centre of attention to the room. I chose electric blue colour for the outside with bright raspberry colour on the inside. 2 bright and bold colours what should never work together - really works on this piece. Its phenomenal colour combination that this beautiful cabinet can take.

I wanted to show with this piece that painted antiques could work with a modern twist. On the outside cabinet blue colour was painted to give texture and naturally aged effect, but on the inside I painted with smooth finish and sleek lines truly highlinghting how antique finish meets modern sleek looks.

I used black wax to highlight beautiful carvings and make them pop out using shadding of black wax. I added a touch of gold to the carvings, but not to much to take away from the colour combination I used.

Cabinet is in perfect condition and sturdy, comes in two parts for an easy transportation. Made from solid oak and comes with original brass hinges and 4 keys in fully working order. Top half comes 2 toughened glass shelves. Beautiful glass fronted doors and sides also made from glass which makes the cabinet even more interesing even if you sit to the side of it. Between the glass doors you also have glass fronted middle and curvy glass details just above the doors.

Bottom of the cabinet with heavily carved doors and 1 shelf inside, its no middle separation in the bottom half which optimises the storage.

Cabinet stands on heavilly carved Queen Anne legs, top of the cabinet is so grand it reminds me peacock tail.

As mentioned before top sits on the bottom half and its easy for the transport.
