This vintage 1970s French-style 3-piece bedroom set includes a beautifully ornate armoire wardrobe, a king size bed frame, and a matching dressing table — professionally refinished by me at Flippin’ Sixpence.

Armoire / wardrobe with hanging rail + shelf
King size bed frame with matching sides, sturdy slats and all fittings
Dressing table with five drawers (two under the mirror + three within the tabletop)
The details that make it
The wardrobe interior has been transformed with a dusky pink base and a delicate damask-style stencil, giving it that vintage-romance feel when you open the doors. A full-length mirror has been expertly cut to fit the recessed panel of one door — practical, and perfectly in keeping with the set’s elegant shape and carved detail.
The bed’s ornate curves and carving are beautifully shown off with the gentle tonal blend, and the dressing table’s sweeping lines make it a real centrepiece (plus loads of storage for everyday use).
Colour & finish
Hand painted in a soft, classic blend of Chateau Grey and Versailles, then aged with clear and dark waxes to enhance every carved detail and give a warm, sophisticated patina.
