A stunning piece of vintage and mid century furniture in a chest of drawers by G plan furniture. The cabinet consists of seven hand crafted drawers and with each drawer having superb dove tail jointing and offering excellent storage, to each of the drawer fronts there are two pull handles in gold. To the base the cabinet sits on a super stylized ebonised black base with gold caps to the top and with the base having four adjustable gold pad feet with gold finials encompassing them. The tallboy has been hand crafted by G plan furniture crafted with African tola wood and has the gold embossed E Gomme logon within the top drawer, the cabinet comes from their Librenza range released in 1958 and designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins. The cabinet is a beautiful and practical piece of vintage and mid century furniture with a wonderful look and styling and great proportions that would suit any home or environment

Condition The cabinet is in superb condition made of solid wood with a tola wood veneer. The chest has been hand sanded to the original wood then waxed and French polished.
