A rather special heavy solid pippy oak extending D end oval dining table with 2 additional leaves. The top is supported on turned legs with an X stretcher. The D ends are opened out using a high quality cog system which is very easy and smooth to use. This is advertised by the makers as seating 10-12, but this will depend on your chair widths. The leaves can't be stored within the table, so you will need to have somewhere to keep these if you're not using it extended. All the fittings are high quality solid brass. This is not the sort of table you can just walk into a shop to buy off the shelf, it's handmade and everything about it is of a superior quality. This model can still be bought from the Batheaston Furniture company for over £6000 for the smaller model in plain oak, pippy oak is an upgrade, so grab yourself a bargain. I do have a set of 8 matching chairs available, please see my other listings if you wish to purchase these as well. This will be delivered complete but with extension leaves removed, if you need to remove the main top you can do this by unscrewing the rails underneath.

In excellent condition with only a few minor scratches here and there and no cup rings or marks, this table has been well looked after. The reciprocating cog extending system works really smoothly and is easy to use. All brass brackets are present.

We don’t use the cheapest couriers around for a reason…….we want your item to arrive in the condition that it left us in, and we value happy customers !!!
