Huge Antique French Limed Oak Housekeeper’s Cupboard.

Magnificent Example of a Large Early C19th French Provençal Oak Dresser in good Antique condition, with pegged construction. Lime waxed finish which really brings out the natural grain of the wood. Original dark oak inside. Original locks and keys and large French hinges to the doors. Locks are missing from the drawers. Top cupboard one original shelf and two modern solid wood replacements. Bottom cupboard has one original solid oak shelf. In good Antique condition aside from some old woodworm damage. This has long since gone but we have treated as a matter of course and added wood hardener to the areas where was a little more damage - just on one side towards the back - see photo. Very solid piece, only minor wear and tear commensurate with age. Statement piece in any room.
