A striking carved oak armchair in the Arts & Crafts tradition, combining a richly toned dark oak frame with bold red leather upholstery and brass nailhead detailing.
Each chair features its own distinctive carved backrest design, giving every example a slightly different character while retaining a strong visual relationship across the set. The sculptural arms, carved timber details and deeply coloured leather give these chairs a wonderfully dramatic presence, equally suited to a traditional interior, library, study, hallway or eclectic statement scheme.
The red leather is in excellent condition, with the dark oak retaining a rich patina and attractive age-related character. The chairs are notably sturdy and comfortable, making them practical as well as decorative.
Up to six individual chairs are available - each sold separately for 195 pounds.
