A delightful vintage Lebus chest of drawers, brought right up to date with a new makeover.
After throughly cleaning, sanding and cleaned again, they have been painted in Annabell Duke’s Emerald City, a beautiful green! I’ve then applied a magnolia transfer and sealed with several coats of General Finishes flat varnish that has a very subtle sheen. The top has been sanded back a dark stain applied with several layers of varnish to protect. The inside of the drawers have had Wise Owl Furniture Salve applied in the fragrance Lemon Verbena, a lovely citrus smell. The top opens up to reveal a small compartment that is perfect for makeup, jewellery or small items. All the original hardware has been cleaned resprayed gold and reused.

This furniture has been upcycled, and finished to a very high standard. There may be a few light marks given it’s age and history, so please do not expect a new, factory finish.
Delivery free within a 10 mile radius of Pontefract, £65.00 delivery covers most parts of the country, but please email your postcode for a quote. Collection in person or arranging you own courier too.

All is well with the cabinet and looks great. It's in storage for a while, the room is not ready as the house is under renovation but will be perfect and I think will be much-loved. Bringing a house and furniture to life is a rewarding combination.
