Louis XVl Newly Upholstered Accent Chair Silk Stripe Fabric, White Painted Frame

Completely rebuilt and reupholstered this attractive Louis XVl style chair has been rescued and restored from being in a really bad condition fit only for the dump.

The frame has been rubbed down and given a fresh coat of paint using the furniture specialist paint Rustoleum in a matt antique white shade with a satin finish.

The sprung seat has been fully stripped and springs re-tied in place, the cushioning renewed with coir and hessian materials, the seat pad then re fashioned and formed using traditional techniques.

It's wide and spacious seat is comfortable and supportive. The fabric used is a pure silk light and dark beige stripe upholstery fabric to give an elegant finish to it's grand appearence.

The back has been re-faced and paddings replaced with new materials and buttoned. Finished off with closely applied brass, decorative, domed nails to complement the handcrafted woodwork details.
