A beautiful and elegant mid century drop-leaf dining table by McIntosh, produced in Scotland during the 1960s.
Crafted from teak, the oval tabletop folds down on each side, supported by gate legs that swing out from the central frame.
The base features sculptural cut-outs and a cross-stretcher for added stability and visual interest.
Designed for flexibility in smaller spaces, the table neatly folds for quick transformation between compact and extended sizes while maintaining its elegant form and warm wood tone when extended.

This piece is in very good condition, with just light wear commensurate with light use of the 60 or so years - a really very nice example that is ready to use.
