Rare and exceptionally stylish drawers, designed by John and Sylvia Reid and manufactured in Britain in the 1960s.

The chest is made from beautiful light oak. With three drawers with beautiful recessed handles

Rarely available, these drawers are a stunning piece of vintage furniture.

John and Sylvia Reid were both working architects, and gained valuable experience working for influential British designer Robin Day and Hille in the early 1950s.

They were asked to design a range of furniture for Stag, and fostered a 10-year partnership between 1952 and 1962 with the manufacturer. Taking inspiration from the prevailing Scandinavian designers of the time, and drawing on their architectural background, John and Sylvia were among the pioneers of British Mid Century Modern furniture.

In super original vintage condition and ready for use in your home with, as you'd expect, some small signs of age and use., these have been pictured for you.

All the drawers operate smoothly.

Collection is available by appointment only, from Brewood, Staffordshire, not far from JN12 of the M6
