Lovely example of a Military Campaign style chest of drawers with pullout secretaire bureau desk section
Crafted by Reprodux / Bevan Funnell Ltd Newhaven England - known for their quality reproductions from 1945 - 2008
This is a very rare example of campaign style chest of drawers with hidden secretaire bureau is dated around 1950/60's
Veneer mahogany
Pull out pigeon holes with 6 small clean drawers, central cupboard / secretaire section that slides in and out freely
All original working locks and 2 keys
All drawers smooth moving and clean
All original brass corner capping and brackets in place
Lovely red leather inset in great condition only minor scuff
51cm deep, 96cm long, 100cm high
As with all Vintage and Antique furniture, these pieces will show signs of a previous life, which we feel adds to the character and charm of the piece. Please do not expect perfection. However its in very good used condition: there are some minor marks/scratches/wear, in line with age and previous normal handling usage, if you study hard there are some small chips to veneer at bottom, small missing trim and faint marks on the top - please study photographs
