Made from antique Singer sewing machine table.
Singer sewing machine bottom is very heavy and made from cast iron
The pedal & wheel in fully working order.
Pictures above its just an examples of our previous work as we done quite a few of them in different colours, sizes & finishes.
We normally use reclaimed pine wood and we doing these tables using Japanese technique which is basically burning wood to achieve enhanced beautiful wood grain, this technique seals the wood pours and prolongs life of wood, making it water proof and super nice texture of the wood grain. After that we staining wood in the colours of your choice. Finishing with clear and coloured waxes to achieve required finish.

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
