This rainbow table is made by me & my partner in crime :)
Made from antique Collier & Sons LTD USA sewing machine table.
Sewing machine bottom base made from metal.
The pedal & wheel in fully working order.
Measurements:
H x 79cm, W x 99.5cm, D x 49cm
We used reclaimed pine wood and we doing these tables using Japanese Yakisugi technique which means charring the wood to achieve enhanced beautiful wood grain, this technique seals the wood pours and prolongs life of wood, making it water repellent and super nice texture of the wood grain. Its very durable and scratch resistant. Pine top was stained using mineral paint. I carefully chosen the colours which very nicely complimenting each other. Colours used is bright yellow, deep plum, orange and vibrant red. Table to was finished with clear and black wax to achieve this beautiful finish. Wood grain is absolutely beautiful to look and also smooth to touch.

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
