This super iconic mid century modern slipper chair has been completely rebuilt and finished with a plush, long pile velvet in a contemporary zebra print.
The size and style makes it suitable for any room and its very comfy too.
The sprung base has been re-tied and thickly layered with hessian, wool and calico in a like manner to its original form.
The chair is labelled as 'Airbourne Upholstery which was a furniture company in the 1950s specialising in aeroplane seating and Art Deco style furnishings. I have replaced the metal label to the underside of the chair for authenticity and provenance.
The measurements in centimetres are;
Height, 73 Width, 46 Depth 58 Seat Height, 36 Seat Depth 42
Postage. A Specialist, careful carrier will be used to deliver the chair to you at a convenient time.
NOTE. I aim to source / rescue quality furniture that just needs a bit of tlc to restore them to their former glory. I only use high end fabrics to give a bespoke quality feel to each piece. Using such fabrics always enhances the design and makes the whole process so enjoyable for me to work with and of course, for you to enjoy.
In order to comply with British Fire Safety Regulations 1988, all my re-upholstered furniture manufactured after 1st January1950 is re-upholstered using fire retardant material, or contains fire retardant linings such as barrier cloth or wool as a liner / padding.
